There are lots of online stores to find games. Prices will vary but our own store uses Amazon - you get a wide variety and prices are always good. Alternatively we suggest Ebay if you are looking for a second hand or classic version of a game.

  • BoardGameGeek - probably the top site for those interested in board games. It is quite US-centric but has an enormous amount of interesting content.
  • About Board games - general information about board games including a regular newsletter from Erik Arneson
  • Discover Games - this one is really targetted as a resource for game inventors but has plenty of interesting stuff for anyone interested in board games
  • The Games Journal - although they have stopped publishing new content this site has a great back catalogue of interesting game related articles
  • Boardgame News - plenty of great content about the world of board games and which is regularly updated
  • Games Gazette - website of the print magazine of the same name - has wide range of interesting content including in depth reviews
  • Knucklebones - website of the magazine of the Knucklebones magazine which focuses on board games, puzzles, brainteasers etc.
  • Board Game Studies - academic site focused on history and development of board games
  • Online Guide to Traditional Games - Good history / general information about some of the more traditional games
  • Association of Game and Puzzle Collectors - group of collectors passionate about games and puzzles. Have a great online database of game rules.
