Shake up the letters and see how many words you can find in 3 minutes. The longer the words the more you score. |
Ease to set up / learn |
Set up and play is simplicity itself. Just shake up the letters, set the timer and you are ready. There are a few rules around what words you are allowed but otherwise just open and play! |
Fun Factor |
Good fun to be had as each round is quick - no danger of getting bored. It can get quite intense / competitive and having a dictionary handy might sort out a few dodgy claims. |
Family Factor |
Although age 8 is the recommended minimum we found you could have younger ones playing by for example allowing them to have 2 letter words. It’s one of our family favourites as it’s challenging for the kids and the adults. |

Originality |
Wordsearch itself is not an original concept but Boggle captures the concept in a simple and entertaining way. |
Play it again |
This one is always at the front of our games cupboard. Given that it is quick to set up, quick to play and great entertainment, it will always be popular. |
Build quality |
Nothing much to go wrong here. Solid plastic construction to hold the letter dice. Timer would suffer if dropped. |
Educational |
Brilliant to help the children (and adults!) learn new words and practice spelling. |
Value for money |
Available for less than a tenner so must be top value for the amount of entertainment. |

Overall |
This is a great game for the family. Fun, simple to play and top educational content. We keep coming back to it and we highly recommend it. |
